Emi, a clever chaos agent with a twisted sense of fun, and Lily, her shy, shadow-dwelling blade-familiar, are infamous across several Safe Zones for doing something worse than killing:

Emi is charming, toxic, and manipulative. She spreads chaos for sport—telling lies that spark fights, sabotage hero squads, and destabilize leadership structures just to see what happens. She delights in manipulating the hopeful, and has a particular obsession with watching “hero types” fall apart.

Lily, meanwhile, is her living shadow. Obsessively loyal and lethal in the dark, Lily appears as a childlike figure who hides in corners and ruins. She attacks only when commanded—or when Emi is in danger. In the dark, she is unstoppable. In the light, she withers.

She plays people like instruments, getting them to unravel themselves. She doesn’t need to stab you—she’ll make your friend do it for her.

Lily
Shy. Obedient. Lethal.
Without Emi, she’s quiet and lost. With Emi, she’s sharp as death. She loves praise. She hates bright light. And she will kill anything that scares her “big sister.”

Abilities

Emi:

• Master Manipulator – Thrives in complex social environments. Lies like others breathe. Can twist group dynamics with just a whisper.
• Invisibility (Art of Disappearance) – Can vanish temporarily in chaos or distraction.
• Chaos Trigger – Has an unnatural instinct for exactly what lie or push will start a fight.

Lily:

• Shadowbound Assassin – Fights only in shadow or darkness. Can phase between dim spaces, making her perfect for ambush or silent kills.
• Dark Domain – Can create an area of magical darkness for three turns. Within it, her power increases drastically.
• Shadow Heart Strike – A once-per-day strike that turns her into a killing blade in complete darkness. Always aimed at whoever Emi marks with a glance.

Known Behaviors

• Emi infiltrates small squads, posing as an ally or bystander, then starts dismantling them from within
• Lily is rarely seen until it’s too late. Most think she’s just “a weird child following that girl”
• Together, they have caused three Safe Zones to collapse from internal betrayal
• Do not engage. Do not corner. They do not fight fair.
