Ira

Title: The Crimson Echo — “Bloom Project 011: The Blood That Remains”
Race: Rogue Bloom (Vampiric Anomaly)
Function Role: Aggressive Controller / Hemocraft Predator
Affiliation: Formerly Red Spindle Consortium (Classified)
Status: Unbound Entity / Follows Yasu

Profile

Ira first appeared in a blood-slicked warzone—the kind of battlefield Genesis was never meant to inherit. She walked alone. She left no survivors.

What Red Spindle once called Bloom Project 011 was a failed attempt to weaponize spiritual hunger through synthetic god-seeding and soul-wrapped flesh. Ira was meant to be their apex predator. Instead, she went silent—then walked out of a collapse site and didn’t look back.

She now roams the world with Yasu, a gunslinger she should’ve killed. But something in him echoes something she lost. So she follows. Protects. Feeds only when needed. And watches him like a memory trying to remember itself.

“You are not strong. You are… familiar. I don’t know why that’s worse.”

Appearance

Ash-white skin and blackened veins, pulsing faintly with red when near blood
Eyes glow dim crimson when focused, shifting to starless black in darkness
Blood-dripped armor wraps around her limbs like it grew there—stitched from old bone and regrets
She often stands too still, like she's listening for something that hasn't yet screamed

Personality

Predatory. Poised. Conflicted.

Ira views most of Genesis as prey, playthings, or background noise. She is arrogant, dismissive, and merciless—except around Yasu. With him, she is uncertain. Something about his presence causes feedback in her blood-weaving, like a memory of something sacred she forgot she ever had.

She has no interest in orders, gods, or ideals. Only survival. And, perhaps, answers.

Abilities

Blood Marking
Her bullets and blood-formed weapons implant pieces of herself into targets. Marked enemies bleed faster, move slower, and can be drained at range by her or her orbiting blood orbs.

Blood Orbs
Floating constructs formed from condensed lifeforce and stolen hearts. They protect, shield, and attack on command—linked by psychic threads she rarely acknowledges.

Area Drain
Can drain all marked targets in a zone with surgical precision—damaging organs directly and fueling her regeneration. If she’s full, her orbs feed instead.

Rain of Blood
Turns the weather against her enemies, marking every soul beneath it. Blood rains like grief, and no shelter is sacred.

Blood Lance
Forms a jagged lance of condensed vitae—pierces armor, flesh, and light alike. Often used as execution. Sometimes as art.

Related Notes

  • Classified as a Bloom-Class anomaly; initial containment failed during divine graft collapse in Sector Z-8
  • Soul resonance logs suggest she may retain fragments of a pre-Gensis identity—possibly a guardian, possibly a martyr
  • Has developed a dependency bond with Yasu—marked as non-aggressive toward him despite aggressive baseline behavior
  • Confirmed ability to speak multiple pre-collapse languages. Often chooses not to.
